Good Morning

The morning would be sublime,
the rising sun more devine,
if I could sleep past nine

A child's smile would be more sweet,
morning coffee would be a treat,
if I could rest my back and feet,
to half past nine.

If I could hit that snooze again.
Get back in that dream and then,
I could sleep a little longer,
'til say half past ten.
